The Student Council raised money for each classroom to have a pet. Students are excited about the idea. We narrowed it down to either snakes or guinea pigs. We realized many parents wouldn't let their children take a snake home over the holidays. Others complained that their Rotweilers would eat the adorable guinea pig. I don't think I want to deal with feeding live mice and insects to snakes, but I do think snakes are amazing creatures. If students find any great websites with more information about snakes or guinea pigs as pets, please share them with the class in the comment box below!

Ginnie pigs are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Iwouldlove tro have one.Ivoted for ginnie pigs but snakes wined,if our parentes dosn't let us take the snake home.And I don't whant to give a mice to a snake.Ithink a ginnie pig would be awesome because it's not dangerous.

i would like ginnie pigs they are cute and adorable and my dog wont eat the ginni pigs because i would put it in a hier place and my mom loved the idea of having a pet but she can take tha ginnie pigs but not the snake she sais that when my 2 yeard old cousin has to sleep ina my house she would certanly get scared of that snake and my mom would probablly throu it away sincerly anna cecilia
